The Birdhole Prison Riot

This week, Frank’s Cupboard contains no text, but only this drawing, entitled The Birdhole Prison Riot. I think we’d all agree that, as a comprehensive, incisive and devastating critique of the social background to the events of this terrible week, it says far more less than words ever could.

Nothing to do with unrest, slopping out, slopping in, screws no longer supplying coke, taking away the 50inch flat panel. This is the reason, the cons want to be at the auction, bidding. Brit?, Gaw?, think of the inspiration inspiring vibes coming of this cookie.

I’m holding out for Jeffrey Archer’s desk. Or Felix Dennis’ rhyming dictionary.

Many years ago I had a job interview with Felix Dennis. It did not go well. Perhaps I ought to dredge up the memories and turn it into a future Key’s Cupboard postage.

Maybe he figured that his glass actually was full Frank, fly on the wall time, when he cut that disc with Lennon, them was the days. Can you picture Julian the Swede shagger making a single with Jedward, proceeds going to his shitty brief.

Did I really say shitty brief, I meant legal chum.
