I love all of Jack White’s manifestations – he really is a prodigious creator of funky riffs, right up there with Jimmy Page or any of the great riffmeisters, whether delivering them by guitar (early White Stripes), piano (the ‘Get Behind Me Satan’ album) or voice (‘the Blunderbuss’ album).

I’ve been meaning to get me some Alabama Shakes for a while too.
