		<description><![CDATA[I have his edition of Grose, and once had his dictionary of cliches, or perhaps it was catchphrases. And I once had his book on punctuation, &lt;i&gt;You Have a Point There&lt;/i&gt;, which has always seemed adequate reason not to get a copy of &lt;i&gt;Eats, Shoots, and Leaves&lt;/i&gt;.

I remember that Raymond Chandler had criticisms of some of Partridge&#039;s work on American slang.]]></description>
