Well if it did end up in a Belgian situation then perhaps salvation could come from President Van Damme if President Norris couldn’t kick sufficient butt. Yes, an Iraq-type scenario, unless of course a Belgian-type (but with much worse beer and weather). The thought of Texan secession fills me with a profound calm, but then I lived some years in Colorado, where it is the fashion to speak poorly of Texas. Indeed why not retrocession to Mexico?
