Glengoyne Comment of the Month Winner June 2012

Every month we award a bottle of Glengoyne 10 year old single malt – the finest whisky available to humanity – to a commenter who tickles our fancy…

It was a great month for comments, if not sunshine. How else are you going to ventilate your opinions when stuck indoors? There were some lovely ones throughout.

However, Rita’s unforgettable post on her Greyhound trip managed to provoke similar memories in the comments. It’s not easy to pick one of them, but then we never went into editing for an easy life…

So here’s to Peter Davies, whose tale began with the imperishable “I too found love on a long-distance coach”. It turns into something of a potted ’70s romantic travelogue. Do read on for a tale of love amongst the exhaust pipes

Peter, we hope a glass or two of the best stuff helps marinate some more memories. Prost!
