Flash-culture vulture…

This post will be short and sweet as I’m rather pressed for time: London Fashion Week, the London Design Festival, London Open House and my birthday party are all happening at the same time this weekend.

I’ve just a few moments to share a some photographs taken at Somerset House, when I was distracted from the more fashionable proceedings there…

It’s amazing what beautiful things and opportunities lie all around us in our wonderful city. Most of the time we don’t even seem to notice – or simply take it all for granted. Education in the appreciation of our surroundings and cultural environment should be compulsory.

Happy birthday Susan, 23 comes round but once, enjoy.

It comes to our attention that the London Open House Week link omits any mention of Catford Dogs, or the remains thereof. How bizarre.

All so very true, Susan. Who is the strange beardy character with the melting face (bottom left)? Anyone know?

Happy birthday! I trust you are doing something curiously fabulous.

Gaw – it’s either Neptune – or Sylvester Stallone’s mother.
Happy Birthday Susan – I trust you are doing something curious…

Thanks guys! Laser lights are still flashing in front of my eyes after a humdinger of a birthday bash – with decor styled on Miss Havisham’s house (what else?)
