Christmas Fox winners!

Thank you to everyone who entered our competition to win a Christmas Fox. Most of you correctly identified the illustrator of Scrooge’s third visitor (the Ghost of Christmas Past) as John Leech.

The three winners picked at random were:

Nancy B. Thompson of Amherst, Massachusetts
Shahla Haque of London; and
Miranda Harris of Driotwich.

Slightly Foxed have been informed and will be posting the books imminently. (Incidentally, Miranda tells us that found The Dabbler via the BBC’s Only Connect page, as her daughter is appearing on the show in a special University Challenge Champions edition. So good luck to Miss Harris!)

To our unlucky entrants, remember you can still buy a Christmas Fox – they’re ideal literary stocking-fillers. This year’s edition features a delightful short story by author Linda Leatherbarrow. It costs £6.50 in the UK or £7.50 overseas, and more details are here.
